Description

By Chike Momah
With the back drop of the raging Nigeria/Biafra war that lasted from 1967 to 1970, emerges this story about a young woman named Titi. She arrives in Geneva in the employment of the Okeke family as a maid. What Titi lacked in education, she made up in charm and stunning beauty. Soon the young Igbo femme fatale left the Okeke household for reasons not unrelated to sex and love. She later got involved with the brother of the President of an East African nation (among others) and found herself entangled in matters of love and war as Biafra sought international recognition. In the story, we meet characters in a small African community in Switzerland, and share the intrigues of their interactions and the dynamics of their lives.
